STEWARDSHIP 2022: TO THE ONE

We give to God, through the church, for the glory of God and the sake of the world.

Stewardship is a time where our church leadership plans for the upcoming year—and we’re inviting you into it. If you call University Carillon, Vessel, or any ministry at the church “home” … we ask that you partner with us for the glory of God and the sake of the world.

When the whole people of God give generously, the church is equipped with everything it needs to live fully into the unique calling of God upon them. We want to be a church of good news—running on all cylinders, relying deeply and daily upon the Holy Spirit; being fully equipped through the generous faithfulness of its people … you.

FROM THE ONE
Receiving from God.

From the very beginning, God has been blessing through promise and provision. As we explore the scriptures, we see a thread of blessing promised through Abraham, perfected in Jesus and now provided to you.

Often reduced to narrative and characters, these stories in scripture are true—and it’s the genesis of your story. The God of the Old Testament made flesh in the New, is still at work through the Holy Spirit in you. We have been blessed to be a blessing.

WITH THE ONE
Partnering with God.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

As said in Ephesians … if he will do more than, why would we settle for less than? What if partnering with God, through the church, could do immeasurably more than we could accomplish on our own?

FOR THE ONE
Blessing others.

Because we receive from, and partner with the One … we’re tasked with pursuing the one—the lost, last and least. As the church, we have been blessed to be a blessing—a focus in multiple ministries at University Carillon. This pursuit of the one is an outpouring and overflow of our relationship with Jesus.

PLAN TO GIVE
Tithes and offerings

As we plan and prepare for 2022, our church leadership wants to make informed decisions when it comes to exploring new, and expanding current, ministries at University Carillon … and we’re inviting you to help us!

Please consider submitting a pledge—a plan of your tithes and offerings—for the coming year. By partnering with God, through His church, we are able to do immeasurably more than any one individual could imagine.

If He will do more than, why would we settle for less than? Partner with God today.

PLAN TO SERVE
Serve focus: prayer

“…to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

That is our posture when it comes to prayer. As we gear up for a new year, our church is uniting in service for others by bringing everything to God in prayer. We believe through this next year of consistent prayer—consistent conversation with God—glory will be brought to God and the good news will be shared.

You can participate in that in multiple ways:

  • Participate in the Monday Prayer Group
  • Sign up for the Weekly Email Prayer List
  • Join the NEW! Intercessory Prayer List: to pray on behalf of others.
    We want to be a church that prays together, even when we’re apart. Receive a weekly curated prayer list (via email)—of people, ministries and more—and pray at a specific time by setting your phone alarm. When the alarm rings: pause and pray.

Here are other examples of how you, the church—have pursued the one this past year! From volunteering at summer camps, donating to Community Pantry, helping park cars, becoming a reading buddy, serving at Converge, and more … we offer up all of these blessing back to God and ask that He multiply them in the coming year.
