UPCOMING EVENTS

Called Church Conference Being Held
A vote TODAY, Sunday, October 1 held at 4 PM to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church under paragraph 2553. Only “Professing Members” of University Carillon will be able to vote. The front doors will open at 3:15 PM; and you must be present to vote. Our District Superintendent of the East Central District, Rev. Dr. Sharon Austin, will preside over this Church Conference.

Pastor Joe’s Sunday School Class
Returning on Oct 8 at 11:15 AM, Pastor Joe’s class will explore the Gospel of John. All are welcome to join!

Worship Night (hosted by Vessel)
Join us for a night of worship through song on Oct 13 at 7 PM! We recognize that our life doesn’t need to be perfect before we turn to God in worship. If your current relationship with God is experiencing His goodness or you can only feel distance between you and Him—we invite you to show up and worship!

Trunk-or-Treat
Bring out the whole family to UC’s Trunk or Treat! Enjoy some trick-or-treating around the UC Parking Lot where the trunks are hosted by your friends at UC: Upward Teams, UC Early Learning Center Teachers and Families, Church Small Groups and more!
Donate candy! Drop off candy in the church lobby M–F, 8:30 AM–3 PM or on your way into church.
Host a trunk! We’d love for you to decorate/theme your trunk! Sign up for a spot. Candy is being provided

UPDATES

Community Pantry
Drop off non-perishable food items during the week (M-F, 8:30 AM–3 PM) or during Sunday gatherings; supports Faith UMC Food Bank.Needed items: canned raviolis/spaghettios, tuna or canned chicken, canned soup, canned beans, rice, ramen noodles, peanut butter, cereal and pasta.

Intentional Family Group
A community of families seeking to follow Jesus as we wrestle through all the complexities and challenges of life together. An open group that meets every Wednesday from 6:30-8 PM (kids classes available).

Weekly Prayer Gatherings
Join others in prayer … for revival in the church, the community and the world. In the Chapel every Sunday 10:15–11 AM, Monday 12–12:30 PM, Wednesday 7–8 AM and Friday 10:30–11:30 AM.

Bible Studies
UC offers many Women’s & Men’s Bible studies that meet weekly (M–F). You can find a full list online.

Pastor Appreciation Month
October is designated as the official Pastor Appreciation Month. You can express gratitude for all that your pastors have done by sending an email (see back for contact), and praying for continued fruitful ministry in their areas.
