I love the daily rhythm of spending time in God’s Word. Research shows that regularly reading God’s Word is number one on the list of spiritual disciplines that helps lead to our growth in the faith. Normally, we are invited to read just one chapter of Scripture each day, and then I (or another staff member) offer some reflections on what we have read, which is called the “SOAP” (Scripture verses, Observations, Application, and Prayer) daily devotional. This is a great time to get signed up for this to be sent by email to you every day.
