Are you feeling called to MISSIONS?
University Carillon has built relationships with several missionaries and ministries throughout the world – including the Bahamas, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Rwanda, and Kenya. We are currently involved at several locations in the Dominican Republic and in Cuba, but always looking for God’s calling. Is God calling you? If so, come join us.
Please pray for members of our church–and others who are ministering alongside us or in our name—on these trips:

“This summer a team of 10 college students and 4 adult leaders will be heading to the Dominican Republic to assist and uplift the Rich Sucher Ministries who we have partnered with for over 15+ years. We will bring vital items and serve in order to aid their occupational training centers, kids’ food programs, Bible Colleges, and churches. Through strongly cultivated relationships with the locals and the year round team we will tend to both the spiritual and physical needs of our friends in the DR as the Global Body of Christ.”
…more about EPIC Missions
Each year we send a missions team to minister at Jackie’s House—private orphanage in the Dominican Republic established by “Tia Jackie and Tio Hernando.” The house ministers to handicapped, abused and neglected children, in Jesus’ name, and regularly provides aid to children who live and work at the local dump.
Jackie’s House relies completely on donations.
We have an ongoing relationship with Rick Sucher and his family who are missionaries in the Dominican Republic. Under the auspices of Missionary Ventures, Rick, and his late wife Barb, moved to the city of Sousa where they work with various ministries overseeing a Bible school, administering a children’s feeding program, teaching women to sew for a living, and going door-to-door and pastoring pastors.
We send missions teams to work with the Suchers about once a year.
We send teams as often as possible to minister alongside three “sister churches” in the Holguin province of Cuba.
Through our budget, University Carillon supports the following full-time missionaries:
Mike Chapman, Cru Communications Group (Orlando)
Vern and Iris Cutshall, Cru City Field Staff (Orlando)
Andrew Lopez, Cru Destino
Missionary, Cru Unreached People Group (East Asia)
Rick and Barbara Sucher, Missionary Ventures International (The Dominican Republic)
John and Joan Tungseth, Cru Global Prayer Movement (Orlando)
Mike and Amy Whipple, Cru Strategic Partnering (Orlando)
Rich and Ruthie Wiewiora, Cru Communications (Orlando)
