UC Early Learning Center—Preschool PE Teacher

  • Position available working with 2, 3 or 4 year old students
  • Hours Wed. 9:15am – 12:45pm and Thurs. 8:45am – 12:45pm
  • Position is for the 2021-2022 school year beginning in August

All UCELC employees are subject to a background screening upon hire.

Social Media Specialist

Job Details
Part-time (15-20 hours); salaried
Location: on campus, remote

Position Overview
University Carillon is looking for a Social Media Specialist to lead social media campaigns and help grow online engagement and discipleship.

Require management of social media campaigns across multiple platforms. You’ll work with other teams/ministries to help share stories, info, events and more. You’ll partner with creative teams to ensure the delivery of great content that engages and excites our social media audiences.

And by staying on top of trends, you’ll be the voice of what’s new in this space and champion other opportunities to expand our current social media platform.


Qualifications

Experience

  • Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Photoshop (preferred)
  • Canva

General

  • A deep and growing love and affection for Jesus
  • Strong desire to see people grow and mature in Christ
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, fun and team player
  • Must be organized, creative and adaptable
  • Must see the social media platforms as real space, filled with real people who are really loved by God
  • Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other social media platforms
  • Basic familiarity with Wesleyan teachings and beliefs
  • Clearance of a criminal background check


Responsibilities

  • Work alongside pastors, communications department and ministry leads to create and implement a cohesive digital discipleship strategy that encourages and equips the church
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with hyper attention to detail
  • A love for storytelling (writing posts, covering events, condensing & sharing testimony)
  • Regular postings to Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms as needed
  • Produce content that encourages connection and community in person and online
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends in social media, design tools, and apps
  • Capture real-time moments (services, sermons, events, programs etc.) and share in creative ways and multiple, online mediums

Maintenance job openings:

Church lawn crew member, 10 hours per week.
Evening cleaning person, 4-5 hours, Monday-Friday.
