The Brain Wellness group maximizes the health and well-being of individuals experiencing memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, or early stage dementia by providing a therapeutic environment where members can engage in brain-healthy activities and learn lifestyle adaptations.

 

The BRAIN WELLNESS GROUP OFFERS:

  • Brain Healthy Activities
  • Light Physical Exercise
  • Socialization
  • Creative Arts
  • Intergenerational Experiences
  • Spiritual Growth
  • Individualized cognitive-communicative therapy conducted by graduate clinicians in the UCF College of Communication Sciences and Disorders

The BRAIN WELLNESS GROUP MEETS:

  • Mondays and Thursdays
  • 10:00am -2:00pm
  • three 14-week semesters (FALL, spring, summer) for a total of 28 sessions per semester
